Clothe Yourself as God's Chosen One

Clothe yourself, as God's own chosen one, who is purified and holy and well-behaved by God Himself...

Seek eternal treasures, clothe yourself as God's own chosen one, seek Him, follow Jesus
In His Image, God's chosen one

Regulate your life and conduct yourself in union with and conformity to God. Have the roots of your being firmly and deeply planted in Him and fixed and founded in Him, being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving (Colossians 2:6,7).

Aim at and seek the rich, eternal treasures that are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. And, set your mind and keep them set on what is above (Colossians 3:1,2). Clothe yourself with the new spiritual self, which is ever in the process of being renewed and remolded into fuller and more perfect knowledge upon knowledge after the likeness of Him Who created it (Colossians 3:10).

Clothe yourself, as God's own chosen one, who is purified and holy and well-behaved by God Himself, by putting on behavior marked by tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind, a lowly opinion of yourself, gentle ways, and patience which is tireless and long-suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes with good temper.

Be gentle and forbearing with others, and if you have a difference against another, readily pardon them, even as the Lord has forgiven you, so must you also. And, above all these, put on love and enfold yourself with the bond of perfectness. And, let the peace which comes from Christ rule in your heart to which as one body we were called to live. Be thankful, giving praise to God always.

Let the Word spoken by Christ have its home in your heart and mind and dwell in you in all its richness, as you teach and admonish and train others in all insight and intelligence and wisdom as you sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs; making melody to God with His grace in your hearts. And, whatever you do, no matter what it is in word or deed, do everything in the Name of the Lord Jesus and in His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him (Colossians 3:12-17).

Continue to devote yourself steadfastly to prayer and the ministry of the Word (Acts 6:4). Do the will of God heartily and with your whole soul (Ephesians 6:6). And, do not become weary or lose heart in doing right, but continue in well-doing without weakening (II Thessalonians 3:13). Let love for your fellow believers continue and be a fixed practice with you (never let it fail) (Hebrews 13:1).

And, the Lord shall guide you continually

and satisfy you in drought and in dry places

and make strong your bones.

And, you shall be like a watered garden

and like a spring of water whose waters fail not (Isaiah 58:11).
