Do All for the Glory of God

Jesus said, “This is the work that God asks of you; that you believe in the One Whom He has sent (that you cleave to, trust, rely on, and have faith in His Messenger)” (John 6:29). Believe in your Lord Jesus Christ. Believe in every Word that He speaks to you and He will help you to do mighty things in His name.

Roll your works upon the Lord. Commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will and so shall your plans be established (Proverbs 16:3). Yes, seek Him. Allow Him to direct your every move. Be firm, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord; knowing that your labor in the Lord is not wasted or to no purpose (II Corinthians 15:58). Know matter how small of a thing He has you do, know that it will accomplish that which He desires it to…rather you see it or not.

Be firm, roll your works upon the Lord, love abounds, believe in God, I Corinthians 13:4-8, love is an excellent thing, whatever you do, do all in the Name of the Lord

Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in dependence of Him, giving praise to God the Father through Him (Colossians 3:17). Allow only such speech as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, that it may be a blessing and give grace to those who hear it, come out of your mouth (Ephesians 4:29).

There is so much sin in this world and so many people are burdened down with the guilt of that sin. They need you to speak hope and life into them. They need to know that where sin increased and abounded, grace has surpassed it and increased the more and superseded (Romans 5:20). And, the only way you’ll be able to do this is by living in God’s love everyday. You must so much feel His love and acceptance for you and everyone else, so that you can share that love with them.

Love is an excellent thing and a very great blessing, indeed. It makes every difficulty easy. It bears a burden without being weighed, and renders sweet all that is bitter. Love knows no limits, feels no burden, thinks nothing of troubles, attempts more than it is able, because it believes that it may and can do all things; for this reason it is able to do all, performing much where he who does not love fails and falls. Love is watchful. Sleeping, it does not slumber. Like a living flame, a burning torch, it tends upward and passes unharmed through every obstacle.

Whatever faults may be committed, big or small, whatever clouds may pile up on the horizon, dark and threatening, love will overcome all (I Corinthians 13:4-8). With His love holding you, you can help set the captives free. You can help heal the broken hearts. You can help cause the blind to see. And, give them the Lord’s ornament of beauty, His oil of joy, and His garment of praise (Isaiah 61:3). Believe in Him and it shall be done.
