THE LORD'S MESSENGER

Whatever faults may be committed, bit or small,

whatever clouds may pile up on the horizon, dark and threatening,

love will overcome all (I Corinthians 13: 4-8).

speak in love, act in love, love others, help others, let your speech be God's Word, love will overcome all
The Lord's Messenger

Faith comes by hearing and what is heard comes by the preaching of the message that came from the lips of Christ (Romans 10:17). You, as the Lord's messenger, need to tell others about Him. You are to be His voice wherever you go. Keep yourself right with God. Seek after His wisdom and may your mouth utter His wisdom and may your tongue speak with His justice (Psalm 37:30).

Let your speech at all times be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may never be at a loss to know how you ought to answer anyone who puts a question to you (Colossians 4:6). You do not need to be anxious about how or what you are to speak to others; for what you are to say will be given you in that very hour and moment, for it is not you who are speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you (Matthew 10:19b-20). May your soft speech break down the most bone-like resistance (Proverbs 25:15b)

Let your life lovingly express truth in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly. Enfolded in love, grow up in every way and in all things unto Him Who is the Head, Christ (Ephesians 4:15).

Love is patient, is kind...it does not envy...is not boastful, is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not provoked, is not touchy or fretful or resentful, thinks no evil...bears with all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. Love is an excellent thing and a very great blessing, indeed. It makes every difficulty easy. It bears a burden without being weighted, and renders sweet all that is bitter. Love knows no limits, feels no burden, thinks nothing of troubles, attempts more than it is able, because it believes that it may and can do all things; for this reason it is able to do all, performing much where he who does not love fails and falls. Love is watchful. Sleeping, it does not slumber. Like a living flame, a burning torch, it tends upward and passes unharmed through every obstacle.

Whatever faults may be committed, bit or small,

whatever clouds may pile up on the horizon, dark and threatening,

love will overcome all (I Corinthians 13: 4-8).
